Description

Reaching out and seeking for the Public’s help….Sick Baby Bearded Dragon in need of nursing!! It’s been a year since my son’s dog (of 13 years) passed away & he was ready and wanting to bond again with another pet. He wanted a bearded dragon. He took his time and educated himself, overtime he bought everything he needed to provide one a good home and so we adopted one a couple months ago..,All was going well. The little guy started climbing onto my sons arm when he would reach into his enclosure (but pretend to be asleep when I came around). Then suddenly we noticed a huge change of character where he became disinterested in interaction, started sleeping more, then it turned to sleeping all day and night and on the floor of the aquarium instead of the basking rock he was always on! Then he started to loose interest in eating. My son has tried everything (from speaking to online reptile vets, to taking him in to the local reptile store for an exam and to offer him as a rescue in order to give him a chance at life. The pet store said he isn’t diseased but malnutritioned and being under weight they couldn’t take him in. My son is concerned and wants the best future for him and he knows his care isn’t going to give him the chance he deserves. He is will to give the dragon, his aquarium and everything he has for FREE to the right person who has knowledge and experience with raising/caring for one. To qualify all we are asking for is a brief Phone survey to ensure and satisfy that we did the best pre screening we could to get him into the right hands and have a a good chance of a healthy life ahead of him. Any suggestions or referrals for where and how to care for him in the meantime are very much accepted and we are greatful for your time, concern and interest in helping us and this little guy in his time of need. Thank you again
